Now, I know from personal experience that having a positive attitude about learning is easier said than done – especially when you’re stressed out by other things going on in your life. You don’t have to spend an hour doing this; just read through your notes for a few minutes and review anything you found particularly difficult to understand so it’s fresh in your mind when you do your homework later that night.

Also make sure to read the textbook at least once before starting any homework assignments based on those chapters. Use study guides if they are available since they will often give you tips and tricks for how best to approach different kinds of problems so you can solve them faster and with less effort.

Studying with friends is one of the best ways to improve grades because it’s so much more fun than studying alone! Just make sure not to turn it into a social event where everyone sits around talking while pretending they’re studying; otherwise none of you will actually get any work done! Be clear about what needs doing (for example “We need this chapter finished by tomorrow” or “I’m struggling with these questions”) then help each other out by asking questions like: “How would we solve this problem?” or “What does this paragraph mean?”
