Please bring one picture of yourself and a pen and paper to take notes. Also remember to bring your passport, driver’s license, or other form of ID so that we can copy it for your file.

At betong, we work in small teams, so there is a lot of interaction between team members. Your work environment is informal, so feel free to ask questions and participate in brainstorming sessions as often as possible. There are no dumb questions (unless you ask if we have any dumb questions).

Please come up with some ideas for the project that we will be working on and send them along in an email before your first day of work so that we can discuss them as soon as possible.

betong is a powerful but simple web application framework, with a clear and pragmatic syntax. It allows you to build great applications, faster than ever before.

What can I do with betong?

We have created some examples for you to see what you can do with betong. The easiest way for you to experience betong is by getting the code from GitHub and playing around with it. Clone the repository with:

Betong is a small town in Sarawak, Malaysia. Betong was previously known as “Batu Puteh” which means “white rock” in Malay. The name was changed in 1963 to its present name by the government of Sarawak.

The town can be reached by road from Kuching, the capital of Sarawak, either via Bau or Sri Aman. The distance from Kuching to Betong is about 230 kilometres (140 mi).

It is situated at the border between Malaysia and Thailand.

Betong has a small airport with a 1,400-metre (4,600 ft) runway located about 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) from the town centre. The airport has regular flights to/from Kuching three times a week using MASwings Twin Otter aircraft and once a week using Berjaya Air ATR 72 aircraft.

Betong is a small place in southern Thailand, near the border with Myanmar. It is in the mountains and has lots of birds and butterflies. Unfortunately the bird photos are all on film, but I’ll get them scanned eventually. The butterfly photos are digital.

The name “Betong” is pronounced “Be-tohng” in Thai. It rhymes with “long.”

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
