The company’s revenue from operations increased by 2.71 per cent YoY, driven by a strong demand for cement in the construction sector. The revenue from operations stood at Rs 17,193.33 crore, up from Rs 16,656.11 crore in the same period last year.
The company’s strong demand for cement in the construction sector was driven by a number of factors, including the government’s infrastructure development plans and the growth of the real estate sector. Additionally, the company’s improved operational efficiency and increased sales of specialty cements also contributed to the revenue growth.
UltraTech Cement’s capacity utilisation stood at 73 per cent, indicating a significant improvement in the company’s operational performance.
