1. How To Know You’ve Used Enough
You might think that using more cement all is better, but this is not the case. When using cement all, a little can go a long way. Only apply as much as the surface needs, or the cement all will not dry properly, and may even crack when it does dry!
2. When To Know It’s Dry
One of the trickiest things about cement all is knowing when it’s dry. If you try and move on too early, you’ll smudge the cement all, but if you wait too long, it may already have started to set and become difficult to apply more to.
3. How To Remove It From Yourself

Cement All is a very unique product in the market, and has some tricks to it. Before getting started with a project, here are some tips and tricks that we suggest you read through to get the most out of your Cement All experience.
1. Before you start: We recommend wearing gloves and safety glasses while using Cement All.
2. The water-cement ratio: In order to achieve maximum strength, it is essential to follow the recommended water-cement ratio of 0.30 – 0.35 by weight (50 – 60 pounds of water per 94 pound bag). Water is needed for hydration, but if too much is used, the strength will be significantly reduced. On the other hand, if too little water is used, the material will be too harsh and difficult to work with. Adding only enough water will produce a plastic mix that can be shaped into any form before hardening into rock-hard cement in about 20-40 minutes depending on temperature and humidity conditions.
3. Mixing: Mixing should be done at low speed using a paddle mixer attached to an electric drill (about 500 rpms). The bucket should not be more than 1/3 full for proper mixing without splashing over the sides
Cement All is Rapid Set’s high quality, durable, cement product. It is suggested for both structural and non-structural applications and can be applied from featheredge to 4″ thick in a single lift. Cement All can be effectively bonded to existing concrete surfaces without the need for surface preparation or priming.
The following are some tips and tricks for Rapid Set’s Cement All:
Strength: Although Cement All is not as strong as Concrete Mix, it is typically used where high early strength (up to 2000 psi in 3 days) is required.
Shrinkage: Cement All will shrink less than 5/16″ in 10 feet when placed on a well compacted substrate.
Placement Thickness: 4″ in one lift will allow you to place it faster than 2″ lifts back-to-back. This also reduces the chance of multi-lift shrinkage problems at the interface between lifts.
Consistency / Workability: Cement All requires more water to get workable than other mixes so don’t skip adding water just because it feels dry at first. Adding more water once it’s already been mixed may compromise strength and durability. Add water until it reaches a “cookie dough” consistency.
