Throwback Thursday 2018: a blog showcasing all the posts from your company’s pages from the past year. This post is an update to the original post in 2016, and contains almost twice as many examples.
Concrete is one of those materials that has been around for a long time, but which is really hard to master. It’s not just a matter of mixing sand, water and cement — there are lots of things that go into making concrete work well. One of the important ones is a little-known material called “white concrete”, which is used in many concrete structures.
In the past few years we’ve seen more and more examples of white concrete being used in buildings around the world — from bridges to skyscrapers to shopping centres. The most interesting thing about these examples is that they all use different types of white concrete. We wanted to take a look at how this material can be used in different ways — and how it might be used in the future!
First off, let’s take a look at what makes white concrete white: it’s made up of two parts: cement and aggregate (usually gravel). In order to get the colour you want, you need to mix these ingredients together very carefully
Throwback Thursday 2018: a blog showcasing all the posts from your company’s pages from the past year.
The most popular post on our blog this week was an article about white concrete. The post included photos of the concrete and some interesting facts about how it works.
In this post you’ll find out how to make white concrete, what it’s made of, how much it costs and how long it takes to dry.
1. How do I make white concrete?
White concrete is made by mixing cement, lime and sand in equal quantities. It can be applied directly to the surface of a building or wall, but is best used as a base for other materials such as brick or tile.
2. What are some of its benefits?
White concrete has several benefits including:
a) It’s durable and easy to clean; the surface will not chip or crack over time like painted surfaces do with age.
b) It’s versatile; it can be used on any type of building or wall because it doesn’t require special preparation before application (for example, primer). You only need to apply two coats at most before applying another material like brick or tile on top of it.
c) It’s low maintenance; unlike
The holidays are coming up, and it’s time to do your company some good. Social media marketing is an important part of the marketing mix these days, but it can be difficult to show your boss how well you’ve done over the year. This blog post will walk you through how we did our “Throwback Thursday 2018” social media campaign, which allowed us to showcase our most popular products from the past year.
This year we wanted to do something a little different for Throwback Thursday. We’re a concrete manufacturing company, and our most popular product has always been white concrete. But this year we wanted to try something new: black concrete! We wanted to see if we could use our new product line as a chance to tell the stories of the people who make our products possible. And so we put together this social media campaign that features the stories of all of our employees!
The idea behind this campaign was simple: Let’s get back in touch with all of those people who have helped make our company what it is today! We started by collecting stories from each department about how they were involved in making white concrete a success. From there, we curated those stories into a blog post that told the story of how white concrete came to be one of our most successful
In an age when we have so much choice, a lot of brands are making the decision to go niche.
In the past, companies were forced to go broad in their appeal, but with more competition and a more fragmented media environment, we’re seeing the rise of niche brands that target a select audience.
This can be divisive, but if you get it right, it can really connect with your customers and make them feel like you understand them.
Here are some examples of brands who’ve gone down this route…

I found a great new way to get white concrete. I’m so excited about this that I might break out into song. Thomas Edison did when he got good results from his first attempt at making concrete. He wrote a song about it:
I’m just a poor boy, though my story’s seldom told,
I have squandered my resistance for a pocketful of mumbles,
Such are promises
All lies and jest
Still, a man hears what he wants to hear
And disregards the rest.
Concrete is so easy to make that anyone can do it. It’s basically made by mixing cement with sand and gravel, adding water, and letting it harden. You can even buy small bags of premixed concrete at Home Depot and mix them in a wheelbarrow with a shovel. But people who’ve tried that have often been disappointed with the color of the concrete they made. It’s usually more grey than white, and the color varies considerably depending on the cement you use. This is because most cements are grey rather than white; when you mix them with sand and gravel, you get more shades of grey.
White concrete is a popular choice for modern architecture. It’s clean, simple and can be easily incorporated into many present-day architectural designs. But, how did this trend begin?
The first patent for white cement was issued in 1908 to Joseph Aspdin. He called it Portland cement because the concrete made from it looked like Portland stone, a widely-used building material quarried on the Isle of Portland in Dorset, England. The name stuck and it’s been known as Portland cement ever since.
In 1911, Thomas Edison decided to build his own cement plant in New Jersey and began manufacturing a form of white Portland cement that he sold under the name “Edison Portland Cement.”
