The Ultimate Guide to Pool Floats
A blog about pool floats, the purpose of a pool float and why I love pool floats.
My first memory of a pool float is from my childhood. I was at the public swimming pool in my small town and all the kids were waiting for the lifeguard to bring out the pool noodles. After what seemed like an eternity, she emerged from a storage closet with a large rubbermaid container and took out several large foam floats. These bright yellow noodles were placed around the edge of the pool. We all knew what that meant: it was time to play sharks and minnows!
I’ve been passionate about pool floats ever since that day. My parents thought I was taking it too seriously when I said I wanted to be a professional swimmer when I grew up — but they just didn’t understand. Sure, in hindsight, professional swimming probably wasn’t going to work out for me — but I never gave up on my love for water toys!
As an adult, I now have the resources to invest in all sorts of inflatable water toys. In this blog, you will find my favorite finds as well as reviews of some new products on the market!
I have always been a huge fan of pool floats. They are the best way to relax and enjoy the summer sun. I love supporting other people’s dreams and goals, especially if they involve pool floats. This is why I am so happy to announce that I just backed backerboard on Kickstarter! Backerboard is an amazing new app that lets people share their ideas for new kinds of pool floats. If you like an idea, you can back it. And if you really love it, you can become a backer.
I love being able to connect with other pool float enthusiasts and be part of building their dreams. I’m not sure what my first idea will be (maybe a float shaped like a shark?), but I’m pretty sure whoever builds it will have my support!
Pool Floats
Pool floats are giant inflatable things that you can put in a pool and float on. They are made out of durable vinyl and come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. They even come with cool features like cup holders!
Why I Love Pool Floats
I love pool floats because they are comfortable and inviting. You can feel the warmth of the sun on your skin while you float along in the water. It is a perfect combination of being in nature and relaxing with friends.
How to Use Pool Floats
To use a pool float you put it into a body of water, climb onto it, and begin to relax! It is as easy as that. There are no complicated instructions for how to use a pool float – just get into the water and have fun!
Types of Pool Floats
There are many types of pool floats. Here are some of my favorites:
Pizza Slice Pool Float – this one looks like a giant slice of delicious pepperoni pizza. Yum!
Unicorn Pool Float – this one looks like a beautiful unicorn with rainbow hair, a sparkly horn, and golden hooves. Perfect for any unicorn lover!
Donut Pool Float – this one looks like an enormous donut
There are times in life when one just needs to flop down and enjoy the view. The pool is the perfect place for such a moment. This is why I have spent so much time researching the best pool floats for every occasion.
For example, you may be one of those people who can’t stand being in water without a floaty. If this is the case, I would recommend a simple foam noodle that you can wrap around your body and then let your legs drift. If you’re looking for something more relaxing, an oversized float designed to support your whole body while floating on your back might be just what you are looking for. And if you’re like me, there are few things better than basking in the sun with a drink in hand on an inflatable raft.
My goal is to help you find the pool float that fits your lifestyle and personality. You should be able to feel comfortable and relaxed while enjoying a day at the beach or pool. So grab a glass of lemonade and enjoy the view from your very own private island!
Pool floats are a pool accessory. They are designed to be used in or around a pool or body of water. A pool float can be used for recreational purposes or as an aid to recreation. It is not uncommon to see a pool float used in conjunction with another pool accessory such as a diving board, ladder, water slide or other accessories meant for use with swimming pools.
Pool floats are designed in many different forms and materials. Some types of pool floats are foam filled, some are inflatable and some are solid plastic forms that sit on the surface of a swimming pool (typically the deep end). The purpose of this article is to provide you with the information necessary to decide which type of pool float is right for you and your swimming pool.
“The only thing I like better than talking about Food is eating.”
― John Walters
It’s not a secret to anyone that I love food. And by food, I mean all types of food. I don’t discriminate against anything. If it’s edible, I eat it. But because my parents weren’t made of money and couldn’t afford to take me to fancy restaurants every day growing up, we ate at home a lot. My mother taught me how to cook when I was young so that I could learn how to fend for myself when I got older. And in the years since, my love for food has only grown stronger.
Nowadays, there are plenty of ways to show your love for food and cooking but one of the best ways is by writing about it! Everyone can do it, you don’t need fancy equipment or ingredients; all you need is your favorite computer and a bit of free time. So if you too want to write about food, here are some ideas:
