Nautical Lifestyle Blogging: A blog about using the nautical lifestyle in your posting through clothing, products, and interests.

I am Devin Vodicka a 24 year old blogger from New Hampshire. I love being outdoors, spending time at the lake, and all things nautical. I recently started this blog to help inspire others to add a little nautical influence into their daily lives. Whether you’re looking for some ideas on how to decorate your home or just want to see some amazing views of different lakes around the world, you’ve come to the right place!

Cement Grey is a blog about living the nautical lifestyle. From fashion to home goods and DIY tutorials, Cement Grey offers the best of all worlds. With stories of our travels on the open water, we hope to inspire you to embrace the nautical life, if only through your wardrobe or home decor.

We are currently still in our first year of sailing, and have been publishing stories of our travels through Europe as we learn the ropes aboard our new ship, the SS Blue Horizon. We’ve recently returned from Portugal and Spain, where we spent a few months exploring local crafts and cuisine. We’ll be heading out to France soon for a summer adventure!

We are also deep into testing some new products for sailing enthusiasts. Some of our favorites include:

– Seaworthy Sweaters: Our latest line of sweaters is great for cold nights on deck, as well as casual wear around town.

– Nautical Dinnerware: A set of plates, bowls and cups that are durable enough to use on deck but stylish enough for guests at home

– Navigation Apparel: Clothes that can help you navigate your way through tricky waters

I am a true-life sea captain. I’ve been sailing around the world for years, and I’ve owned a boat since the 90’s. I’m happy to share my experience with you on this blog in order to teach you how to implement the nautical lifestyle in your own life.

A lot of the things I’m going to talk about on this blog are going to be very basic, common sense topics that you may have been exposed to before. That is not the point of this blog. This blog is a safe place for all people with a love of the nautical lifestyle to share their ideas and experiences.

If you have a friend or family member who doesn’t understand your nautical lifestyle, show them this blog! The posts written here will explain many aspects of the nautical lifestyle that you may have never even thought about before. If you are new to the nautical lifestyle, welcome! This blog is for you too.

I am excited to share my knowledge and experiences with you, and I hope that we can all learn from each other.

For shallow water conditions, the 3’6″ rod will work just fine (especially for inshore fishing). However, for deeper water and more powerful fish, the 4’6″ rod is the better choice. The longer rod will give you a longer reach and better leverage when fighting larger fish.

The best way to determine which rod length is right for you is to consider where you primarily fish. If you’re in a boat where space is limited, go with the shorter rod. If you’re on a beach or pier where casting distance is critical, opt for the longer rod. Of course, if you have room for both rods in your boat or truck and can afford the investment, buying both would be ideal!

When selecting a saltwater fishing rod, it’s also important to consider whether you want a spinning or conventional reel. Each has its own pros and cons, so choose based on personal preference as well as what type of fishing you plan to do. For example, if you’ll only be fishing off a beach or pier and need long casting distance, then a conventional reel with a level wind will help prevent line tangles while ensuring long casts.
