The process of preparing concrete is important. Read below to learn about the different types of concrete mixes and how to get your concrete ready for use.
Concrete Mixes: Concrete is available in many different mixtures. The purpose of each mixture will determine which type is best to use. For example, if you are building a driveway, you will want a mix that can withstand the weight of automobiles so 5000 PSI would be best. If you were installing a sidewalk or something in your backyard you might want to consider a 3000 PSI mix since it would hold up well under foot traffic but not cost as much as 5000 PSI mix.
Preparing Concrete: In order to properly prepare your concrete you need to first choose the right type of concrete for your project. Once this has been done, follow these steps:
