Just over a year ago, we started this blog to help our customers, and other
people who use mortar and bricks in their work, be more successful. We’ve published
dozens of posts on topics like how to choose the right brick for your project, and how
to match mortar colors. We’re already making plans for next year’s posts. If you have
a topic that you’d like us to cover, let us know!
Today we’re happy to announce the launch of the newest addition to our product line:
mortar mix. It’s available in red and white, and it’s a blend of the highest quality
ingredients. For best performance, store indoors until ready to use. Check out all the
details on our website.
We are excited to announce our newest product, Brick and Mortar Mix. The product is a mortar mix, but also contains bricks. It’s perfect for someone who wants to build a brick wall without having to wait for the mortar to dry. We think this will be our most successful product yet.
Dear Valued Customers,
We would like to inform you that we are discontinuing our brick mortar mix. This product is no longer profitable enough for us to continue making it. We are offer you a new product, brick mortar mix v2.0., which we believe will solve the problems you were having with the original brick mortar mix while maintaining the same great taste.
Brick mortar mix was introduced in 1972 by our founder, Burt Armstrong. It was originally designed as a way for people to build houses without having to go to Home Depot. The idea was that you could use brick mortar mix to build your house on the spot, instantly, without having to purchase any other materials or run to Home Depot for supplies.
Unfortunately, brick mortar mix did not work as well as we had hoped. People found it difficult and time-consuming to use, and many customers reported that their houses fell down a few weeks after they had been completed due to the fact that they were not built according to building codes.
We are pleased to announce that we have revamped our original formula and come up with something better: brick mortar mix v2.0. Brick mortar mix v2.0 is made of exactly the same materials as our original product (clay, dust
We’ve just launched a new product called Quick Brick, a mortar mix that lets you lay bricks in half the time.
It’s the result of years of research into what bricklayers need.
Quick Brick comes in a big bag. You tear open the bag, pour in water and mix it with a trowel. Then you spread the mixture on the wall, put your brick in, and press it down. That’s it!
Compared to normal mortar, which usually takes about an hour to set hard enough to hold a brick in place, Quick Brick takes only thirty minutes. You can even walk on it after only twenty minutes! It’s so quick that if you don’t want to wait thirty minutes for one layer of bricks to set before starting another layer on top, you don’t have to.
Other benefits include:
– No more mixing concrete or portland cement yourself! Just add water and mix!
– The bag is resealable. You can use as much as you need on one job and save the rest for later.
– The ingredients are all non-toxic, so if children or pets get into the mixture you don’t have to worry about them getting sick.
A while ago I was trying to find a good way to replace the mortar in my chimney. The old mortar was in bad shape, and I wanted to replace it before it crumbled entirely. But chimneys are difficult places to work, and I didn’t know how I could get the old stuff out without having the chimney fall down around my ears.
So I went to the hardware store and asked for advice. The man there said he could tell me how to do it with a special gun that shot bricks out of it at high speed. He said he’d been in the business for years and recommended this method highly.
I explained that I had already tried that, but that when all the bricks were gone, there was still mortar left in many places. It seemed like taking a sledgehammer to crack a nut.
He then explained that if I used his special gun on a brick with enough force, the brick would break into its component atoms and leave only pure mortar behind. That sounded promising, but when I went home and tried it, all that happened was that my house vanished; there were bits of brick all over the lawn, but nothing left of the house except a pile of dust where it used to be.
