I wanted to share an idea that I recently put into practice, in the hopes that it will help someone else out. At my home, we had a wall which was a total mess. I decided to do something about it, for two reasons:

1) To make the room look nicer.

2) To increase the available storage space in the garage.

The wall had one of those big metal pegboards screwed into it (which are great for organizing tools and small items), but I wanted to hang some larger items as well. So I took a trip to Home Depot, and picked up some heavy-duty cement anchors (basically screws with hooks on them). The hooks made it easy to hang some of the larger items, such as this hose reel. Here’s what the wall looks like now:
