Thick layers of concrete form the foundation of a complex structure.
The concrete will be placed in 3m thick layers, with each layer being 1m thick in the middle. The concrete will be placed in a spiral pattern, starting from the bottom of the silo and working its way up. The spiral pattern will be repeated throughout the structure, with each layer being offset by 1m to the right.
The Construction Process
The construction process for the cement silo is a complex and intricate one, requiring careful planning and execution. The first step is to prepare the site, which involves clearing the area of any debris and leveling the ground. This is followed by the inflation of the airform, which is a large, inflatable structure that will serve as the foundation of the silo.
Inflating the Airform
The airform is inflated with compressed air, which is pumped into the structure through a network of pipes and valves. The inflation process takes several hours, during which time the airform is slowly expanded to its full size.
